．發源於石川金澤，由茶葉莖梗煎炒成的焙茶，是日本綠茶的一種。單寧及咖啡因含量極低。

．特意採用春收「一番茶」的莖梗作原料，以高溫味濃及低溫芳香的兩種煎炒方式製成，具有獨特的烘焙香氣。

．棒茶小故事:

當年的加賀地區，並不是盛產茶葉的地方，可獲得的材料只有便宜的茶梗，茶人想出辨法，將其焙烤再加工，去除了苦澀味，便成了現今廣受日本人歡迎的棒茶。
